Traceroute displays the path packets take to reach a network host. Each line shows a "hop" - a router the packet passes through.

What the output means:

• Hop number - The sequence of routers
• IP/Hostname - The router's address
• Time (ms) - Round-trip time to that hop
• * * * - Router didn't respond (may be firewalled)
